Why Baking is an AMAZING Hobby

Do you like sweet and savory treats? Well then maybe baking would be a fun hobby for you.

If you think baking is only about sweets then you’re wrong — baking can be sweet, but it can be savory too. (For example: pizza, pretzels and more) 

In baking, a very fun part for me is doing it with family and sharing the process with friends. You can bake with anyone! If you can’t meet up with someone, you can make a google meeting or have a zoom with a friend to bake with. 

Another fun thing in baking would be, if you have time you can whip up something quick, and if you have only time to make the dough or batter you can look at the recipe and see if it needs to rest, or if it is an option. 

In baking, there are many styles or techniques you can use. If you found yours already that’s AMAZING, but if you still need to find yours maybe you want to research online or look in a few tip books you pick up from any library or from the store. Everyone has their own techniques and you might find the perfect one for you too.

The taste testing might be one of my very favorite parts of baking. If you don’t know what a taste test is, it’s like a test to see if your dish tastes good, it’s self explanatory. With a taste test you can do it with anyone of your family members or a friend. 

Now that I told you why baking is a fun hobby and all my favorite parts, maybe you will like baking more or want to try it out too. I will tell you it’s a little messy but pretty easy and fun to clean up if you do it together.
